On my Daily Agenda Sheet I have blocked out time for my planning. This means, that my planning hour is relatively guilt free because I have allowed time for it and my young son will be in bed for most of the planning.
Grab some notebook paper, your planner, a spiral or something to write projects going on during the holiday/winter break. At the very top of your first list write the name of your over goal this holiday season.
Holiday Season 2012
Yours might say Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas or other holiday.
Next: Write Your Outcome
How would you like for this Holiday Season and all its experience to be?
Mine says: I want our family Holiday Season to be organized enough to have little stress, fun enough to be well remembered, busy enough to make oodles of memories and peaceful so that Momma can keep her cool through the whole thing.
That is the very first step. Now later tonight you can do your Holiday Project List and Holiday Brainstorming. I aim waiting for little guy to go to bed to complete my first planning day.
I have free printable sheets for moms who like a planning notebook. But a legal pad or spiral will work just fine as lone as you keep it all together and in one special place.
